Hello! My name is Nicole Boris, and I am the Counselor at Nellie Stokes! As your school counselor I strive to cultivate trusting and caring relationships with the Scholars at Stokes Elementary. This will be accomplished by modeling Stokes P.R.I.D.E.   (Positive, Responsibility, Integrity, Discipline, and Empathy). Scholars should be able to share their thoughts and feelings in a safe and caring environment. Providing assistance to students so they develop attainable goals to help them work through academic, social, emotional and behavioral concerns is a primary focus of the school counseling program. With a collaborative approach among all stakeholders, students are more likely to achieve successful outcomes in life.
